Everyone’s found themselves with downtime in a moving vehicle. Whether you’re a little kid in the back seat on a family vacation, a student catching up on homework on the school bus, or just making that daily commute on the train, there’s always that tantalizing challenge of what you can do with this time on your hands.

Now, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority has a new contest to see how Angelnoes are using their time. Their new contest, “Miss Traffic,” lets participants submit 100-word stories about how they’ve used their time on the Metro. Finalists will be featured in short videos on metro.net, where readers will get to pick the winner. Finalists will also be honored at a press event and receive a free T-shirt.
