People aren’t just hiring auto transport companies to move from all across the country to Raleigh, NC for no reason. According to a recent article published in the Triangle Business Journal, officials are considering an ambitious expansion that would increase service by 50% over the next five years. And this July, the agency’s board members are considering a plan that would increase Triangle Transit’s service from 94,000 hours to 141,000 hours by 2013. With gas prices on the rise, the TTA is seeing a more of a variety of riders than ever before. It now caters to people who own vehicles but who are choosing, instead, to ride the bus. It’s a great alternative to driving your personal vehicle to work as it has been assisting those in need of other transit alternatives.

Additionally, the TTA has a fully functional web site that guides new riders through the process of how “riding the bus” works. It offers virtual schedules as well as other information such as where the closest stops to your home are, etc.
